I liked the style of the early twenties.
Very friendely and helpful staff. The room was big, beautiful and clean. I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone.
My room at the Silversmith Hotel was exceptional. I enjoyed the spacious accommodations. I will definately stay at this hotel again. Thank you.
The hotel's door facees the station of Madison/wabash so the location is very good for the new visitor to Chicago. The rooms provide free coffee, newspaper, shampoo, lotion and soap. The room is luxurious.
I liked the art deco decor -- everything reminded me of Charles Renne Mackintosh. Our room was clean and there was enough room for all 4 of us. We didn't feel cramped.
The staff was amazing. Peggy the concierge was the nicest person on the planet. The room was big and comfy.
Room service was not very good. No wireless internet was a drag as well.
convenient city location, internet and computer access, spacious reception area, having ada's downstairs
nonchalance of desk clerks and doormen
Hotel position. Close to the Magnificent Mile and the Art Centre
My room, the lobby and other spaces were not so good looking
The employees there were very helpful. The hotel offered free internet serivice and consierge service. You had to have a room key to get to room floors, only public access to lobby & ground floor. It had the perfect location for us to walk or ride the L-train to the museums and other sites.
We wanted to order a late night pizza but were unable to find a phone book....
The experience was very nice. The staff made you feel welcome and at home during our stay. The room was very clean, the hotel its self is very quiet.A little bit of street noise but you got used to it.Again our stay was wonderful and looking forward to returning in the near future.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, including the staff in the restaurant. ( The food was great!) The room was clean and comfortable. The location was good.
Location is excellent if one wants the Loop/business district/ Millenium Park. Large and comfortable room. Large bathroom. Excellent shower. Lovely Arts and Crafts style. Ada's restaurant on premises, reasonable for wholehearted American cuisine. Location excellent for shopping and for trains.
Check in was efficient and very helpful and friendly. Exremely Large comfortable room with spacious bathroom
The room service does not seem to be really available when you need it
Convenience of the location and reasonable sized comfortable room. Very helpful reception staff
